Lime Street Agency was founded by Mike Cowan, who has worked in digital marketing and content for over 15 years. He has started digital departments at multiple companies and has been able to build and grow these business units through identifying the right strategy and then building highly competent and conscientious teams to execute.
Lime Street Agency was created to help authentic, creator-led companies gain the benefit of this experience to build and execute digital strategies at a fraction of the cost of hiring a team.

Mike Cowan | Founder & CEO
Mike has been embedded in Silicon Beach for 15 years working in digital marketing and media for companies of different sizes. During this time he has run marketing departments, has been head of content for brands with 10 figure content budgets, and in his last role acted as Chief Digital Officer. At Demand Media, Mike entered as an early employee and saw growth through to an eventual IPO. At Nitro Circus, Mike started the digital team that was eventually responsible for the brand’s growth to the largest action sports channel in the world.
Mike has an MBA at the Anderson School of Business at UCLA, and holds a Bachelor of Commerce at Queen’s University in Canada.
Lauren Dayton | SVP Marketing & Strategy
Lauren has acted as a Digital Product Marketing lead for over a decade on Mike’s teams. She is a versatile marketing professional with extensive experience in the digital space. She brings a strong record of successfully launching and managing performance-based campaigns focused on acquiring new customers, increasing revenue, driving ticket sales, and promoting content.
Lauren has an MBA in Marketing from Arizona State, and holds an undergraduate degree from Towson University, focusing on Mass Communication and Advertising.
Chris Cowan | VP Performance Marketing
Chris Cowan is the performance marketing lead at Lime Street Agency, where he is responsible for helping brands deliver on their goals, and set up for success in a turbulent digital ecosystem. He was previously the Associate Director of Performance Marketing at Art & Science, Digital Experience Design, an agency located in the heart of Toronto’s tech boom. Chris led and supported multiple award-winning campaigns for Nitro Circus, Samsonite Canada, Shaftesbury Films, and Sinking Ship Entertainment. Prior to that Chris was the digital marketing and analytics lead at the Schulich Business School, ranked the number one in Canada by The Economist.
A military veteran, Chris was awarded the prestigious Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal for services to Canada in 2013. Chris has a degree in Psychology from Queen’s University.
Trevor Orr | Director of Content
Trevor brings a wealth of creative and content expertise to the Lime Street Team. He has managed all aspects of digital and creative marketing projects for a variety of brands. He has knack for creative and copywriting, a keen visual eye, and aptitude for all things digital. He brings this UX and design expertise to all of projects, ensuring maximum value is extracted from all customer touchpoints.
Trevor holds a Bachelor of Broadcast Journalism from Biola University
